Kyokushin is a style of karate with a philosophy of self-improvement, discipline, and hard training.
Lowton Karate Kyokushinkai is one of the only clubs in the North West to be teaching this style. You can become involved with training with whatever personal goals you want to achieve, and there is the opportunity to attend gradings and competitions.
Whether or not you choose to compete, participating in a karate class regularly will help you with your physical development and your mental health, and you’ll be able to make new friends at the club.
We train on Wednesday evenings and Saturday mornings. Click through to read more.

Sensei Mike Tanaka has been involved with karate since 1979 and has been running clubs since 2006. With his 4th Dan and many years of experience, he can help each and every club member to achieve something great.
Why not get in touch and see about coming along for a session? We’d love to speak with you and answer any questions you might have.
